CHFD crews will be participating in active firefighter training at Horizon Middle School,1750 Piros Drive, with smoke machines from 0900-1700 today (2/1)and tomorrow (2/2)

In partnership with School District 49, CHFD has been provided 3 buildings on school grounds that are slated for demolition on 2/3/2025. This invaluable training opportunity will consist of nozzle and hose work, search drills, firefighter survival, and vertical ventilation. CHFD extends our gratitude to School District 49, with a special thank you to the staff of Horizon Middle School for giving us this great training opportunity.
