CHFD responds to a number of service calls each year. These calls range from animal rescue to changing batteries in smoke detectors to flooding situations. Oftentimes CHFD is able to resolve the problem; otherwise our focus is to stop it from progressing to a worse situation and/or refer the community member to the proper resources who can fix the original problem.
